Agree on the multi prong comment. Australia has fairly generous maternity leave provisions (including income during it) but the outcome still lags behind.

I’ve been commenting a lot today - and I think this is what will leave me stuck in the greys.

And further exacerbated by the managerial staff are more likely to be male.

Any chance of a dummification of those studies?  Very curious.

Apoplectic fit triggered.

I’ll second that. Wow. What an amazing human being his lawyer must be. What an amazing human being this person is.

I’m similar to BiggsandWedge2020 in that I’m a white male who tends to read jezebel and have for years (7? 8? I lose track). Mostly ended up here thanks to jalopnik... but I digress.

Minor issue - the Ford was not engineered to be LHD.

True statement. They received several hunderb million dollars from the Australian government to continue manufacturing and develop the car - with strings attached. They had to build and sell a global car (the car was developed deliberately to be lhs and rhs drive)

But apparently there is with the F150 - they share switchgear. That works, right?

From Australia, where these were available for sale. I test drove one and it was horrific. Diesel was fine, I guess, but it had this horrific whine from the power steering pump that was audible at any speed, body roll that was sickness inspiring and a price best described as “I’ll be the Subaru”

Gotta keep those presses running... How else will we know when a new comment is posted?

WWhile technically correct, most would refer to it as turbocharged.

But for that extra $5k you could have bought the truck (sans camper) and an old caravan - put the bikes in the bed and then use the truck for more than just camping.

Personally have trouble reconciling bad-ass with flag waving. But I come from a country where the only people waving flags are extreme right-wing nutters.

Very much this. Was certain that SOMEONE would have seen this and commented on it.

Exactly. I think that’s the model we bought - and currently have an 8 year old in (he’s a shorty).

The trick is to buy the right car deats. The $80 specials take huge amounts of room - $250 Diono seats are barelyy wider range yhe kid and rated safer.

It’s OK, i’m sure they returned the $6.80 in the end.

Correct tion: the mazda 2 is sold as the yard ia.
