I read up on Ender's Game a while back, and the whole weirdly homoerotic stuff about teenage boy sounds really off-putting, and the morality about genocide being kind of morally acceptable just because he didn't "know it was real" is disgusting. That, and he gives money to anti-gay programs through the Mormon church.

I think we need Kanye to become a sort of mediator for all of the news. We'll have the right, the left, and the Kanye.

For me, it depends on the artist. I can sort of separate Lovecraft's racism from his art, but I will NEVER read an Orson Scott Card novel.

I had to google sweetbreads to remind me what it was and the first picture on the wiki was of sweetbread sitting on a mushroom risotto and I was like damn.

I prefer to think that someone is just following him around upvoting him, and another's following him around deupvoting him because it entertains me, but the whole friendship thing is probably healthier.

Linda, I know you. I miss the smell of your little vanilla air freshener you insisted on plugging into my car's vents, I never did figure out where you got that. Was it the Shell? I found where you hid the drugs in my house and I flushed them down the toilet. I know you'll never stop this horrible campaign for drug

I thought I could hurt the stupid.

I just watched someone upvote this, and then deupvote this and I was like, "Huh. Internet politics, eh?"

I tried to punch this article, but I hurt my hand instead.

Sort of, it does sound like they should flip titles. I'll give the first episode a go tonight if I'm feeling in the mood for something dramatic after The Venture Bros. I am also trying to watch Mad Men for the first time, so that may take precedence.

Hmm, well, I'll give it a shot, thanks for clarifying.

In what way? I have Netflix, so I'm no doubt going to give it a shot, but the reviews I've read make it sound like a very similar concept done with a more awkward tone.

I saw Zoolander 2 this weekend with the family, and I think I smiled twice. Sting was good, and the orgy scene was funny. Right before the movie, I found out that my mom posted some things about a very private medical problem I was trying to keep quiet about on her Facebook, so that probably set the tone, but damn if

I was pretty stoked to start this show because Jacobs is awesome and Rust was on CBB (his voice irritates me), but the more I read about it the more it sounds like hanging out with a couple that's always fighting. You're the Worst did this perfectly, so I don't know if it's a concept I really feel the need to watch

So meta.

I've tried reading Infinite Jest once, but found it hit too close to home in some places while being incredibly dull in others. I lost my copy, but am considering picking it as I finally finished Gravity's Rainbow last month.

Are you Hulu?

I love Achewood. Ray is my ideal drinking buddy.

Good to know! I'll remember that whenever I get down to viewing it. I'll probably give season two a try, but I'm one who gave up on Dexter around season 6.
