I agree. I think Modine makes a great villain. Years of playing decent guy roles makes it all the more jarring when he plays the cold heartless scientist. Loved his performance. Understated and subtle.

I remember being able to get super excited about movies when I was that age. Seeing a movie that just completely fired your imagination, and left you obsessing about it days after leaving the theater. I don't think you're ever able to capture that as an adult.
