How much is this living wage anyway? We have an actual living wage statistic, and it goes from right at minimum wage for one person, up to like 90k for a single mother of four.

For her, that’s how it would work. For SAG/AFTRA stuff like movies and TV, it’s withheld like the taxes. Usually, if you guest star in something, you’ll get scale plus 10% so you can pay your agent.

How many comments do you think are from people who are bad at sex themselves but complaining about other people’s performance?

Yeah, those Republicans sure are Others!

There are people who think those are the same? Weird.

Two wrongs don’t make a right. Spreading problems isn’t how you solve them.

Is your money going toward charity, or are you just punishing companies that don’t give?

What about if you’re burning it? Or burning a US flag?

Thing’s have changed though. Lots of companies get big first and then cut their way down to profitability nowadays. VC guys prefer it because it makes them way more powerful than if the company didn’t need their money.

Problem is, competition isn’t going to win the battle either way. Uber is facing a future of ever-increasing fees and regulations, just like Taxi companies went through.

Well put on both posts.

It’s not. Nor did he say that.

No, but you were the exception. It’s not just the companies anyway. The taxi unions are corrupt as hell.

I’d say it’s Byron “Whizzer” White. Not as great a player, but he did become a SCOTUS justice for decades. Paul Robeson is up there too.

Strangely, the one Muslim man who isn’t ever called by his chosen name is Malcom X (a name and part of a belief system he denounced but is only recognized for).

Young women put juuuusssssttttt a bit too much seriousness onto making your hands into a heart.

Thug is a racist term. Stop hating black people. Concern trolling is still made up.

Oh...I should’ve said. He didn’t just have a talent for observational humor. He created a new type of smaller, more focused humor. He changed stand up to where even guys like George Carlin started doing smaller, more observational stuff...though obviously Carlin changed back to more political stuff.

I’m only talking standup. He also created a great show, which other standups (George Carlin, Richard Pryor) didn’t achieve, but that’s neither here nor there when it comes to his opinion on stand up audiences.

The joke was that they were holding up “Death to all Jews” while shouting out to Keemstar. Which is definitely not funny, but it’s annoying everybody is on a one-strike-and-you’re-out policy now. Where do people get this idea that being offended by someone you don’t even watch means you deserve satisfaction?
