While I don’t get their mindset either, I wouldn’t go that far. It’s a patriarchy where the husband only disciplines and solves problems. The wife is supposed to run the household, including handling the money.

I’m not getting that from the picture. I don’t see any awe.

I prefer Ellison because he wants to hit all of those swing suburbs really hard. We can’t have the Dem candidate winning the popular by 3 million and still lose, and that was the key to victory in 2006.

True, I don’t have any idea if she’s on drugs now. She definitely seems like anxiety is an issue with her, though I don’t know that for sure either.

I agree. I didn’t say otherwise. If your solutions to the problems is to tell the cops to do better, that’s what has already proven to be a failure.

No. The whole point was to dispute the canard that cops are bullies who went on the force so they could be bullies. They’re affected by their environment.

Thanks. I was thinking Perez but wrote Dean for some reason. He’s been out for like two months, so obviously he’s not getting the job!

The right has led us into far fewer wars than the left/Democrats. Civil War, Spanish American War, WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Kosovo. Conservatives have led us into Iraq, Afghanistan, and Iraq again.

A lot of it is just how they play. LeBron is a brute that can overpower anyone, but his game is ugly to the eye. Ugly jumper, full speed crashes into the lane with no intention of anything but drawing the foul. On the other hand, Jordan was sleek, looked cool doing everything, and had more charisma.

Though having said all that, MJ is still the GOAT

He didn’t. It’s one of the many Cobb stories that Al Stump made up.

Over “Going Back to Cali” and “Push It”, two absolute 80's classics.

They also made it too difficult to make a living. It’s like all of the other service jobs in that it was decent money until the 90's or so, but now they simply don’t make as much as people in the same jobs used to.

Yes, I’m sure they get the wrong idea. That happens on a daily basis. As far as I know, there hasn’t ever been an issue with a hostess being assaulted by a recruit, despite how many other sexual assault issues colleges and athletic programs have.

I answered the “to” question because that’s how you worded it.

Yes, in the area of structured segregation. I do agree that there are plenty of racial problems in the North though.

Here’s your previous comment- “Again, there is no lesson to learn from speaking to racists.”

I’m a bit concerned. Ryder has always been pretty troubled, and it’s pretty common knowledge that her drug use was out of control for over a decade. She might just be having a lot of anxiety at being back doing things like awards shows, or she might be having other problems.

It’s not really a gesture towards Trump because this “scandal” is mostly made up. It’s true some Uber drivers, and reportedly some Lyft and other rideshare drivers, picked up passengers. But the strike was supposed to last an hour, and Uber didn’t drop the surge pricing until 90 minutes after the strike had started.

Especially since Taxi’s have had 1000x the problems Uber has. Granted, that’s because there’s always been more taxis, but driver and passenger issues are still really common.
