Simple explanation is: empty hand coming forward equals fumble.

There is a reverse angle of that play where you can see it falls out of his hand before he starts the forward motion, and when he moves his arm forward, he kinda punches it upfield.
I’m too lazy to watch the embedded replay since i (sadly) watched live...so assuming it didn’t show a close up above...The ball came out of his hand when he cocked back to throw and he basically “batted” the ball when he came forward. It’s so bad it’s hard to describe. It should have been a fumble 6 but the DB…
There, fixed it.
To be fair, his guaranteed money is only 40 mil, so it’ll be almost half off once he gets cut!

I can’t think of a single thing Osweiler does better than Brian Hoyer other than being tall.
This guy had the temerity to be resentful about having to let one of the greatest quarterbacks ever to lace up cleats start in the playoffs when it was clearly his last ride, even though he himself had been picked up as a project at least partly because he was Elway Jr’s buddy.
He’s lost control of the ball before his arm starts forward? The weird part is that they claimed the initial ruling on the field was a fumble which would have likely resulted in a defensive TD. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000727665/article/blandino-not-enough-to-change-osweiler-fumble

Here is a neat, one-play summary of how Brock Osweiler’s return to Denver went.
Lol
He went full Omar Little on that situation. She wasn’t in the game.
Update: Tony Romo was also injured on the play.
Touching someone ain’t landing on someone, Bruce. Those are two totally different actions. Wagner exploited a loophole in the verbiage of the rules, that’s all.
