I think it was absolutely necessary. So often suicide is depiticted on television as this thing that happens behind closed doors. The camera cuts off or it just fades out. Seeing that final scene was brutal and necessary. Seeing Hannah’s mom open the door made me want to shut off the tv and not see what happened next.

I really don’t see how anyone would believe what they see on these commercials. Sort of like all these weight loss commercials where celebrities are hawking the latest thing.

I haven’t been to a mall since online shopping became plausible. Prime, eBay, Etsy, and a ton of clothing shops? Hell, I ordered a bunch of glasses frames to try on. I honestly don’t see how any mall stays open these days.
