Is that a Sundrop you're drinking? I NEVER see people drinking Sundrop except locally. More points for you!

Such a great read. Thanks for the reminiscing. I remember playing this on the N64. My favorite technique had to be when Kazooie came out of the backpack and carried Banjo for quicker speed. I can still hear the ‘bird’ noise Kazooie made...oh, and the ‘whee’ noise when they jumped. There are so many small things about B

Good point. I've lived in the south for most of my life. Calling the whole south super racist is a little extreme. It's like calling the north nasal-talking jerks, or the west is a bunch of rich snobs. Like everywhere else in America, the south is changing. Lumping us all together as racist doesn't hold water any

If my jugglies moved like those in the GIF's and countless other games, I could probably train them to do a lot for me. Wave goodbye to two people walking in separate directions, wipe my nose with a tissue, use a paintbrush, and the list goes on.

UPDATE 12 (1/22, 9:40am): For some unfathomable reason, Target decided to take a bunch of Majora's 3DS orders at around 3am ET last night, when most of North America was asleep, myself included. Of course, the system sold out in minutes. We'll let you know if they reopen pre-orders.

I remember when everyone had to have the gold cartridges for the Nintendo 64 Zelda games. My parents traveled pretty dang far to secure one for me. Throughout my childhood I remember a load of random things that were in short supply and people just HAD to have them.

Major bummer. We just had some funky, icy weather and my entire town is shut down. The roads are deadly and my area doesn't have salt trucks. So I'm praying this will pop up again on GameStop or another site.

After a full day of hearing about the Sydney and PA shootings, I feel like pulling this game was a good move. There are a ton of other games in which you kill civilians, yeah. That list is long. But like you said, a whole game of killing for the hell of it just seems a little...icky.

Bummer. I just ordered a shizton of ta-ta tassels with my logo on them explicitly for Twitch streaming purposes.

That really is a sad thing. I'm sure he was upset and annoyed, but that's the least helpful reaction ever.

Asshole sums it up quite nicely. I don't get how people just from one extreme to the other. Upset about something? Contact Steam and discuss. Eff that. Lemme just threaten the head honcho.

Now playing

This is the only thing I could think of while reading this story. Frank knows what's up.

Sort of, er, backwoodsy southern folks are television gold. They lyke us cuz we tawk reeeel funny.

Oh, great. Glad to hear that it's still progressing. It looked amazing.

Random, but I haven't seen any Kotaku updates about that Kingdom Come: Deliverance game that garnered millions on Kickstarter. Is it still being made or is it stuck in a slump?

Hot damn, this is awesome. I'm hoping there's a Thomas character I can wall in and let starve to death.

Perfect sums it up quite nicely. I love how they did this. I don't play WoW any longer, but knowing this little gem is now in the game makes me incredibly happy.

I hate to use this word, but I'm really digging all this optimism and positivity from companies. If it causes people to think before calling someone something foul, good on them. Not all gamers are bad, not all people are bad. At least they are attempting something good.

I have a slightly different take on all this hatred.

RollerCoaster Tycoon. Cleaning up fake vomit on the pathways is a lot easier than cleaning up mine.
