Yeah, it literally looks like they put a skinny guy in a fuzzy blue suit and then built the CGI model off that. No idea why they attempted to give his body humanoid proportions. 

Yeah with modern weaponry, such as cruise missiles that can hit a vehicle from 1000 miles away, tanks just don’t seem that relevant anymore. Also, modern surveillance equipment makes it pretty much impossible to sneak up on the enemy in a tank. Any enemy that isn’t just a pack of guerrilla fighters with AKs and RPGs…

Yeah, same. Pretty much every other Uber I ride in is a Prius. When I make trips out west, the Uber/Lyft pickup areas are just a never ending stream of Priuses. (Or Priuii?? not sure what the plural is..)

Yeah, as more and more services appear, each will become more specialized. Then we’ll basically just be paying for “channels” individually, instead of as a package.

Anyone have experience with the quality of these suits? I’m hesitant to do mail-order suits after my experience with Combatant Gentleman. Looked great for the first year, but now the stitching is coming loose in random places and the fabric is starting to fuzz. That’s just with occasional use.

Well, the ramifications of shooting down a drone are probably quite a bit less than assault with a deadly weapon, which is what you would probably get from shooting a delivery truck.

It’s not really clear yet if the issue is a lack of demand. As the article stated, they are still facing issues with delivery.

Maybe smaller surveillance drones, which the military has been slow to adopt. Large ones, such as the Reaper operates at 25,000ft and 169kts. This little drone wouldn’t stand a chance, even with a shotgun.

Yeah, this is a nice list of things to do if you have some time to kill and want to help out housekeeping. But it’s far from “proper etiquette” as the title suggests. 

Florida is wayyy lax with that stuff. My wife’s 90+ year-old grandmother would go out for drives and forget where she was going, hit mailboxes, and other stuff like that, and they still couldn’t get the state to revoke her license. 

At least gas tanks aren’t pressurized! You might still have a few moments to escape before full conflagration.

Disagree with the last part of that. Keeping to the edge of the road encourages cars to make dangerous passes and actually increases the likelihood of getting hit. Laws in most states allow cyclists 3ft, sometimes more, from the edge of the shoulder.
