Yeah, as more and more services appear, each will become more specialized. Then we’ll basically just be paying for “channels” individually, instead of as a package.

Anyone have experience with the quality of these suits? I’m hesitant to do mail-order suits after my experience with Combatant Gentleman. Looked great for the first year, but now the stitching is coming loose in random places and the fabric is starting to fuzz. That’s just with occasional use.

I bought this a few weeks ago for $35. Shoulda waited!

So is shining a laser pointer at aircraft, yet plenty of unaware morons continue to do it for fun anyway.
Nah, that makes it much more fun! Then you can feel like a DJ... P-P-P-P-P-PLEASE-PLEASE-PLEASE WAIT.
The button mashing is more fun when it yells at you “PLEASE WAIT”. Then you can feel like a DJ... P-P-P-P-P-PLEASE-PLEASE-PLEASE WAIT.
Well, the ramifications of shooting down a drone are probably quite a bit less than assault with a deadly weapon, which is what you would probably get from shooting a delivery truck.
It’s not really clear yet if the issue is a lack of demand. As the article stated, they are still facing issues with delivery.
Maybe smaller surveillance drones, which the military has been slow to adopt. Large ones, such as the Reaper operates at 25,000ft and 169kts. This little drone wouldn’t stand a chance, even with a shotgun.
I’m all for cool aero tech, but it looks like it’s pooping Optimus Prime out of the back end.
Agreed; that’s basically what’s fueling the US space sector at the moment!
Yeah, this is a nice list of things to do if you have some time to kill and want to help out housekeeping. But it’s far from “proper etiquette” as the title suggests.
Florida is wayyy lax with that stuff. My wife’s 90+ year-old grandmother would go out for drives and forget where she was going, hit mailboxes, and other stuff like that, and they still couldn’t get the state to revoke her license.
At least gas tanks aren’t pressurized! You might still have a few moments to escape before full conflagration.
Seems like a reverse case of “Engrish” labeling. Tesla probably had an intern run the labels through google translate, instead of spending the money to hire a translator.
Do they actually sell more cars by pulling the $10,000 bait-and-switch?
Disagree with the last part of that. Keeping to the edge of the road encourages cars to make dangerous passes and actually increases the likelihood of getting hit. Laws in most states allow cyclists 3ft, sometimes more, from the edge of the shoulder.
But you don’t magically create more net downforce by moving the rear spoiler back. The offset causes a pitching moment on the vehicle. Joykill is correct in that any additional downforce on the rear will be robbed from the front. Placement of the spoilers is done to achieve a good balance between the front and rear…
You did this in Atlanta? Ballsy. This is how one gets shot by someone with extreme road rage.
Boring, common cars are actually better targets because their security systems are usually not as good and it’s also easier for a chop shop to make them disappear.
