Had a similar experience with my A4. Came around a fairly sharp corner on a highway (at night) to find a deer standing right in my lane. There was no oncoming traffic, so I slammed on the brakes and veered hard to the inside of the curve. This initiated a minor slide, which would have been fine, except I waayyy

Will the ISV work? Possibly yes, but only as long as it is used correctly. The mistake the 9th Division made was in fighting from their vehicles, not using their vehicles as taxis to drive to the fight.

Was the convenience of the parking spots really worth going to the station 9 times to get the tickets dismissed?

What the heck do you do that needs 45 external drives?

What are the chances that’s what I thought when I clicked the link?

Cool, but one of the most distinguishing features, the flat front, will never meet modern crash standards. Simple physics dictates that a crumple zone is needed to absorb energy. The crumple zone cannot intrude on the passenger compartment, unless you don’t mind not having legs.

My mom used to do this when I asked what words meant. She would tell me to look it up in a dictionary. This was infuriating at first... but I have a PhD now so something must have clicked.

I agree that min page requirements are bad terrible. If papers were correctly graded on content, this wouldn’t be an issue. It should be obvious if a paper didn’t have enough material to make its points. Conversely, making those points in a concise manner is good.

Could just be a lack of info in the report. She probably forgot her ID or something.

Seems like Chevy forgot to account for the 10 customers that actually use their offroad products for offroading.

In general, it’s often best to contribute to local groups who have a better idea of what’s needed and a smaller internal infrastructure sucking up money.

I’m with ya. My ‘04 A4 has a meager 175hp out of a 1.8L 4cyl, but the turbo+manual transmission is just really engaging to drive. Nothing more satisfying than nailing the right revs and boost coming out of a curve on a windy road.

There are plenty of highways with narrow shoulders.

Yup. I live in the DC area; based on what I’ve seen so far, drivers here would just use this as an express lane to expedite their trip to assholeville.

Shoulders are not always wide enough to fit a car. If the shoulder is half a car width on either side, then it makes sense for both lanes to pull off.

I would totally read this if I had an entire afternoon to sit here and digest it.

I initially thought that he must have been going way over the 400ft limit, but looking at the nearby buildings, his claim seems to check out.

Meh. Scarlet Johansen obviously would have been a better fit.

Never seen this before. That actually looks super cool. I bet it makes a satisfying click/clunk noise when you push it in.
