Bet the video is not the actual record run. I’ve been on a highspeed train close to 250mph and the scenery was going by much faster than that video.

My dad is a paramedic, and has several stories about people getting their ankles destroyed in accidents because of this.
Cities like Paris, Boston, and San Francisco maintain self-cleaning public toilets, which hose themselves down
It’s not just a “trick” to appear more punctual to passengers. As airlines have been squeezing as much use as possible out of crews and aircraft, along with an increased number of connections at big hubs, it is necessary to have a bigger buffer.
Sure, it’s easy to pick on Uber, but the short-hop concept makes a lot of sense. In large cities, the volume of space allotted to travel is quite small compared to the volume people use for everything else, thanks to the high number of tall buildings. Taking to the skies mostly eliminates this problem.
I think you’re jumping to conclusions, seeing as how the article doesn’t state the cause of the crash. Not really any way we’ll know anything until the Navy decides to release that information since it happened away from the prying eyes of the general public.
FYI you can buy these on ebay from Chinese distributors for much less. No sacrifice in quality from what I can tell; LEDs are hard to screw up. I have my desk wired up with these and it’s lasted 5+ years.

“Crash” means more to the FAA than slamming into the ground at full speed. So it would probably include more minor instances like sliding off the runway and things like that.
I think people also don’t understand how dangerous unexpected, severe turbulence can be. I’ve sat next to plenty of people who unbuckle for the entire cruise portion of the flight. It’s easy to get complacent when the majority of flying is so smooth.. but people forget they’re hurtling through the air at hundreds of…
The battery in any reasonably-sized quadcopter is more dense than anything you’ll find in a bird. Commercial aircraft are designed to (mostly) survive a birdstrike, but a battery would be a much higher energy impact.
“You Emphasize Quantity Over Quality”
I’m a little dubious of how cost effective this is, for a few reasons.
“Another problem with couponing is that, according to research like this2003 study from NYU (PDF), it leads you to buy stuff you wouldn’t normally buy.”
“The HH-60 is a large rotary aircraft”
I watched the entire DB and DBZ series in subs and found it much superior to the dubbed version I watched on TV as a kid.
Yeah, it seems to be a common mentality that there is a “secret” to being successful in every aspect of life; being fit, making money, etc. All these require significant motivation, dedication, and enthusiasm. Everything else is secondary. Elon just has an abundance of these, combined with the right mix of…
Obviously this all could have been avoided if everyone had been driving on the right (not left) side of the road.
The 21" monitors are above the 34"? I definitely hunch over way too much for that kind of setup to work for me... I think I’d throw out my neck trying to look at the top monitors.
