I think I read somewhere that B-1 pilots aren't allowed to take them supersonic anymore. Too much stress on the aging airframe or something.

I'm a PhD student a few years in, so loosing my work would be the ultimate nightmare. I use dropbox to keep my work synced across 2 computers, one at school and one at home. The one at school backs up to an external hard drive every night, with enough room to keep about 3 months of history.
