I would say it depends on the definitions of drafting and revising. There are authors who plan a lot of structure in their first draft, which are like the skeletal frame of the story, and there are authors who have minimal planning in theirs, relying instead on the inertia of the first direction.

This is something that has always bothered me. Hollywood can’t QUITE seem to get the portrayal right. In Asian culture the idea of 義气 is a pretty established thing. It’s been translated to mean “loyalty”, but it’s actually closer to a “brotherly spirit”.
