Asthmatic here... wearing masks do not trigger asthma. That’s not how asthma works.

Popcorn is more than a snack; for me, it’s a way of life. My dedication to the lifestyle means that I’m always…
That was actually quite refreshing.
Gyms in CO opened up throughout June...Craigslist did not get the memo apparently. Still seeing $350+ barbells and dumbbells for $2-3/lb. Someone has a bunch of listings for “Vintage” York equipment. Dude, I just want to lift, I get that York makes (made?) quality stuff but this isn’t a collector’s item.
I’ve become a huge fan of cages in basements myself... IDK ymmv
Duct tape
You can get a 4-pack of ratchet straps at Home Depot for, like, ten bucks...
This is true of a respirator type mask (N95 and the like) but not for a cloth or paper (surgical) mask.
It doesn’t need to fit snugly for the ‘disrupting your breath droplets from traveling’ purposes. It won’t protect you, but a cloth mask wasn’t going to do that anyway.
“Useless”? Facial hair will certainly reduce the effectiveness of any mask. But something is always better than nothing. Don’t forget, the effectiveness of any mask is measured by the size of the particles it will let through. So even if it were to become an “N10" that beats nothing. Another example would be the…
You could inhale the droplets exhaled by an infected person. That’s how transmission occurs. A mask will, in theory, catch those particles coming in just like it would stop you from spraying them all over.
If you see someone, driving alone in a car, wearing a mask, they are probably going from one place they wore a mask to (grocery store) to another place they plan to wear a mask to (hardware store) and are following the letter of the law that says once you put a mask on, you should leave it on until you no longer need…
I’ve worn a mask alone in a car. It’s not about protection during the car ride, it’s about not handling the mask so much. Put it on once at home after washing your hands, go out and do what you need to do, and take it off when you get home and have washed your hands. Pretty simple.
I see single drivers while wearing a mask, too. I like to think that they are running multiple necessary errands and choosing to leave the mask on rather than take it on and off each time they get in and out of the car (and the more you handle the mask to take it on and off, the more likely you are to spread…
oh no, we’re going to need a whole strategic deck just to go shopping now. THIS CARD CANCELS YOUR NEXT CARD. THIS CARD MAKES YOU DRAW 3 MORE FROM THE DECK. IF THERE ARE NO CARDS LEFT TO DRAW, YOU MUST DO A SILLY CHICKEN DANCE. Okay actually I’m looking forward to this now...
No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service: “OK, I can deal with that.”
The entire mask topic is entirely non scientifically backed.
The change in Rt isn’t inevitable with smart management. New Zealand has proved that.
People keep claiming it’s all an inevitability, but that’s not true.
