I personally love the sound of 911s mainly the intake (and still love them when they're quiet). I also love the sound of the old Mercedes in line 5 Diesel especially in idle. It sounds like a huge clock that's running perfectly. So mechanical and awesome

Thing is the definition of a sportscar might have changed. And across the 911 range the 911 changes. A good example

It crashed because it needed the Top Gear wing

My thought exactly.

When Porsche put a 4 cylinder in the 911 they called it the 912. So I think I should is a safe bet to say the 911 must have a rear mounted flat six. Don't get me wrong, Porsche blows pretty much everyone's mind with their cars, but if they're moving the engine, it would kind of lame to still call it a 911. In other

The 991 isn't in any way bad. I would definitely get a 997 though

There you go not so useless after all. All I gained out of this supernatural ability, is my colleagues calling me sick :(.

Why isn't Elon Musk funding this? Maybe it's because people value appearance over practicality

I feel so badass that I can actually tell them apart

It looks fantastic. I really want one. My god is it beautiful

I don’t know when the time will come where people understand portrait mode is necessary sometimes.

My idea is project cars and sell them refurbished. But yea racing is the answer to most of humanity’s problems.

It’s the thing that I didn’t like do much. I love the crazy cup holders of the 991

Actually it is. It is nearly as fast as the old 911 Turbo S around the ring. Think of the Turbo S Panamera. Sorry gotta go to the toilets

I loved the old one but it wasn’t interesting or sexy.

When you see the Panamera and pay attention to it, the M3 is tiny. You compare the Panamera to an M6 Grand coupe

DAT moment when you realise there’s still a Turbo S!! Rumours are -saying get this- 605ps.

In case you didn’t think of it, mid engine means no back seats.

Actually Porsche could build a small city car and sell it for a sportscar price. I think they don’t bother with the Cayman because the 911 will always sell better (remember 928?). It is very interesting how the 911 is always no matter what amongst the best and especially the fastest Sportscars.

I will be very said if they go mid engine. I have always wanted a rear engined naturally aspirated car. If Porsche doesn’t make this anymore I will either build myself one or suicide. (Please take this lightly)
