Would you recommend getting a steering damper for the 821? Would it make a difference on both road and track?

Are helmets like shoes? The more you have, the less you wear them out? I already have one and I want to buy one more using this logic. Or is it a slippery slope where you find yourself owning a helmet for each day of the week?
