We just miss The Daily Show.
We just miss The Daily Show.
Yep, because conservative Americans have really demonstrated that they boycott any actor or musician who expresses liberal views. That's why no liberals can find work in Hollywood.
I'd say it's closer to 5'10" or so, but yeah, not good for a 5'0" Michelle Warky.
He did say he was going to split it at least somewhat when he won.
That was bad ass. American Ninja Warrior makes me enjoy Assassin's Creed more, as it seems people really can do that shit. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm about to go do a back-flip off a skyscraper into a hay barrow.
I really wish they would have a woman's course or something. Like even a way of shortening the distances between obstacles for people of varying heights would be worthwhile. I'm sick of seeing 5'2" women attempt obstacles that they literally cannot do because of their height.
This looks like a fabulous movie. Simply fabulous.
Is that a bad thing though? I've seen the effects of urban sprawl while living in Maryland, true urban sprawl, where suburbs stretch from city to city without end. I didn't realize that was out of the ordinary and I find it so striking now. If we are more able to live in more dense, cleaner, urban areas wouldn't that…
I love that this is state financed. I want to go to Russia, just so that I can see the country on a bright, sunny day. I feel like it is forever shot overcast.
Low, but not unheard of. Clerks for instance made a ton of money relative to it's shoestring budget and launched one man's mediocre career. The original Mad Max was so cheap that for the final action scene of the semi running over a biker, the production crew literally waited by the side of the highway and flagged…
Hey Project Runway has run for like 12 seasons, and only produced one respected designer: Christian Siriano. Maybe this is the year they make a breakout indy hit?
I have only heard flyover used to describe the Great Plains states. Not the Midwest or Texas. It seems weird to describe some of the most populous cities in America (Indy, Houston, etc) as flyover country.
God damn it, what is Vimeo? Another $10 a month? I've liked quite a few Phillip K Dick adaptations: Blade Runner, Minority Report and a Scanner Darkly I thought were all quite good. Is that a minority view?
I managed to watch the entirety of Mad Max: Fury Road without once thinking, "Good job sticking it to the patriarchy, ladies!" A difficult feat, I know. I pulled the same thing off for Rise of the Planet of the Apes. For some reason I didn't watch a movie about apes crushing a human settlement into submission in some…
Yeah, Daredevil set a high bar. Sadly not all Netflix shows deliver.
Just nerded in my pants.
You should read Moby Dick. It really does stand the test of time.
Calling "The Last Airbender" a flop is an insult to flops. That movie was an hour and a half-long cultural genocide.
*Hangs head in shame and walks away*
Nothing makes for a good superhero story like way too many villains. Spiderman 3, X Men 3, the list of classics goes on and on.
