I guess they cut Sarkisian reading Anthony Brown's tweets.

she's made a few points that make sense to me before, but by and large I'm not a fan.

See, this bugs me quite a bit. Back when she released her first video, I felt there were some problems with it, so, as best I could, I explained why I felt that way. People chose to take it as "concern trolling," and much, much worse. Her defenders, at the time, remind me of the same people who attack and deride her.

I'm pretty sure reviewers don't talk about them because really, they have no impact on whether a game is good or not. That's not to say achievements/trophies cannot make a game BETTER or more FUN but I think most people are in the state of mind at this point it isn't a first, second or even third concern.

Cheers! It's funny, I've been going back through the Kotaku Soundtrack tag and it's cool to get a feel for everyone's music tastes based on what they post.

Nice. I picked up his album "Awake" a few weeks ago. It was perfect for driving across the country.

The amount of vitrol being thrown around on reddit and elsewhere is sickening. The worst part about the gaming industry, by far, are the gamers.

And you had to actually be good at the things the factions valued to advance, because they had skill requirements. Your orc barbarian couldn't become the grandmaster of the Mages' Guild by smashing his way through dungeons with a greataxe.

One of the greatest aspects was that you had to use your brain to get anything done. You didn't encounter someone giving you a quest and they were all "well, I can see you're a flaming fuckin' tard, so let me just mark where I need you to do what on your map for you..."

They explained to you what they needed done where

I love the stress associated with those kinds of playthroughs. it's obviously for those who've already played through the game once or twice. but not being able to reload adds another dimension to the game. you REALLY have to pay attention to what's happening and what choices you make.

I thought the change to the comment system was supposed to prevent stuff like this from being posted.

Why Your Team Sucks 2014: Seattle Seahawks.

The mental gymnastics you need to go through to form that final opinion is unbelievable.

Ah, I see the problem. You seem to think the joke was at the expense of rape victims, indicating you have incredibly poor reading comprehension and possibly a recent head injury.

He picked something expensive to steal. Hell he could have bummed some pasta off someone that was in there, he is the starting QB for FSU.

I'd have a little more sympathy if he was stealing, say, chicken or bread rather than expensive crab legs. Most students can't afford crab legs.

They might not be given crab legs, but trust me no scholarship athletes are going to bed hungry unless they're too stupid to know how their food plan works.

this has to be the best tweet of the day

I don't happen to have a pen with me and this seems like your list, anyway, so it might be more appropriate for you to add it yourself.
