This game looks kinda cool, is there any “sim” aspect to it?

At big universities at least, football and basketball programs make money for the schools

Sports programs at places like Duke make the university money.

I’d bet $50 that on the original Japanese Zodiac system, there was only 1 job per character.

On the international Zodiac edition didn’t every character just get one class?

I think it’s important to note that the voice acting and dialogue in this game is exponentially better than X and XIII. The dialogue in XIII is some of the cringiest I have ever listened to in a video game, and Snow has to be one of the worst playable characters in Final Fantasy.

It’s very similar, although Dragon Age gives you more control earlier, and I thought it was overall better in Dragon Age.

When people complain about the gambits being played on auto, but like the 16 bit Final Fantasy’s, I think that they forget that most of the random encounters play out with mashing attack as fast as you can in order to get through them. Those older ones are really about managing resources (items and mp) in between

It would have to be unbelievably loud for me to care.

Oh okay. I mean in practice, if you play without gambits, it’s basically like playing in the ATB system with a few minor differences. You can choose every action by every character as the bar fills up.

but you still can control directly if you want?

This is way less true with the Zodiac job system

Balthier and Basch

Yeah, I feel like when you make more from your endorsements anyway, that it’s pretty easy to make the argument that being on the best (maybe) team of all time, will make you more money in the long run than the lost money from taking a max contract.

I didn’t realize names based on modal keys were so controversial.

Awakening is by far the worst 3ds game in my opinion. When I want to play a broken FE, I’ll play 4.

I don’t know if it’s because I’m older than most fans, but I feel like my taste is the opposite of the popular characters in the recent games. I couldn’t stand Tharja.

I guess for me, when I think of bipartisanship, I think of representatives taking positions that they and/or their constituents believe in and to hell with what the GOP or Democratic Party believe. It’s about having more individual politicians rather than having people “fall in line.” I realize this is an idealistic

Umm, why are you saying that being a “scorer” and a “shooter” are mutually exclusive? You can be both, and Steph is both. He’s a better “shooter” (better at shooting the basketball) than all of the players you listed.

It’s easy if you’ve played any of the other fire emblem. Hard/Classic SoV to me is way easier than Hard/Classic Conquest, but it’s harder than Hard/Classic Awakening (minus the start). No offense to Heather, but she sounds very new to the series, so I’m not sure she’s the best judge of the difficulty. I want to say
