In some “controlled testing” I managed to determine that the rear spoiler and Mach 1 style lip on the 01-04 New Edge mustang does in fact improve the high speed stability of the car. It is unsettled and floaty in the 110mph range, but cross 120 and the aero takes affect and settles the car down. She held smooth at 140.

I wonder if this platform can be used for a mid-ship? Here is hoping Toyota has a lapse in judgement and brings back an MR-2.

It’s amazing to me how many people don’t know/remember the Mustang almost being neutered. It could’ve easily gone the way of the Cougar & eventually ended up an underpowered FWD cure for insomnia.
