This movie is the reason I’m into cars and not pickups. Seriously, before I saw this movie, I wanted nothing more for my first car than a lifted Ford Ranger set up as a Baja truck (despite living in PA). After this movie I was on the hunt for a DSM and ended up with a Focus thanks to my very generous parents. By the

Correct. It had been in development since the late 50s early 60s but it was just consumer ready when the Government forced it to be shut down.

My favorite is an Urban Legend that proved true.

For being such a basic simple and gutless motor, the KA is still a pain in the ass to deal with.

IACV is on the bottom log of the intake, against the firewall, under the ram horns on the KA.

I’m having MAF issues currently. TO start the car I have to open the hood and unplug the MAF leads. Drive it until its warm (in Limp Mode), pull over, plug the MAF back in. Drive normally.

I wonder if they got around that regulation in Europe. If so its either die to the small volume expected to sell OR this has an exploding hood ala Volvo...

HA! Jokes on whoever tries to steal my 240SX. Unless its fully warmed up, it wont idle at a stop light. And best of luck if you let it die, because then it wont start again!

I feel your pain.

Hi! Owner of a Daily Driven ASC converted car here! You do NOT want one as a daily unless you have:

I’m a father of two with an incredibly scattered engineer brain. My gut reaction is to ask how this could ever happen and how could I forget my kids in the car. BUT last week, I stopped for milk on the way home, remembered the need for 55 minutes driving, stopped 5 minutes from home, went inside, bought the milk, put

For some reason that does not surprise me. At least with the plate I run, its a real Japanese plate. Hiroshima Transport District, Passenger Car, 2000cc and larger engine class.

I live in neighboring PA. No front plate required here. Thankfully our police are smart enough to realize the decorative plate on the front of my car MAY not be originally from the US, even if it WAS a legitimately legal plate at one place and time.

My friend owns an “itasha-style” R32 in CA as well as an OG Japanese RHD 280ZX. Whenever i complain to him all I get back is: “Yep ONP”

Do you aspire to be a “True Automotive Enthusiast” but don’t have the budget for an Alfa Romeo?

Steal fuel from my house and it may end up a gift of extra fuel on your car and a free match as well next time you walk away. It is not the value of the item stolen, it is the act of theft and a violation of my personal property.

I have a hard and fast rule that you NEVER touch or screw with another persons car.

By far my second favorite car of the series. If I had the money to build a replica though, I’d have to make my own version of The Big Bopper just because of the paint scheme.

This response is criminally under-starred.

Its in nice condition but $5k is just asking too much. I recently sourced an example for my Sister-In-Law that had some minor cosmetic issues, and needed a rear hatch hinge replaced. Otherwise rust free and ran great. Supercharged and RWD with the automatic....
