Shoot me a PM though www.facebook.com/stupidcarfact. I’d love to feature some photos of your car.

My uncle had one of these he bought at an auction. It was a fine little car until the day he pulled into our driveway complaining about it “running odd”. We popped the hood and, looking at the motor only saw 2 spark plugs. Following the HT leads from the distributor out, we found the middle plug, still attached to the

I like the styling, and 150hp with 2700lbs to pull around should be more than entertaining. We are talking S13 240SX numbers here, albeit FWD instead of RWD.

I am not bothered by it at all. Anytime we have a rain storm I know both of my sport cars will have flash rust on the rotors.

Except the fact that most accidents are caused by (or at least attributed to) “Pilot Error”, the public will piss and moan to eliminate any chance of people making mistakes. You can’t have it both ways.

Yeah. Any system needs a defeat if it can result in total control of the aircraft. There is a fine line between not enough pilot support and too much non-human control.

Brain-in-a-Jar issue. The MCAS thinks its doing the right thing. It has no other inputs that would tell it that something is wrong. With the inputs it has there is nothing wrong that it sees beyond fixing the nose up condition the AoA sensor is telling it.

I’m on the fence about self-driving cars and here is why:

Yeah, I remember that it was in the E-series but I always considered the E-Series to be a variant of the F, even though its not.

Lets also not forget at least 7 variants of the 4.6L (281ci) in the Mustang. 5 if you consider the PI motors introduced in 1999 to be the same thing as the earlier motors.

Because since 1965, a “Ford 4.9" is the common name for the 300ci Inline-6. Its found in the F-series and Bronco from ‘65 though ‘97.

I’m not going to so far as to agree with you that its ugly, but it is striking. Something about it feels “off” or “incorrect”. The cabin seems so tiny in the center of the two gigantic diving boards of a front and rear end.

Thank you for posting this!

Thank you. I will show them this post. I hope to do as well with my kids.

Haha. She’s very cool. She hung out at the parties too. Even back then I was known as the  class gear head so she was perfectly cool with me taking the car out. We went as friends.

Only of how many people were in the passenger seat after prom. Everyone at the parties I went to wanted to ride in the car.

The Benner family has ALWAYS treated my family well and they also didn’t fight any work on my modified car. I conceded them friends.

I should note that I DID fill the tank AND washed the car inside and out before returning it to Todd and Selinsgrove Ford.

Senior year in high school I wanted a nice car for prom. I went down to Selinsgrove Ford, where my family had gotten cars and service since I was little. I spoke to the owner Todd and told him I wanted a car for Prom, knew it was a long shot, but could I rent a car from him for Prom night.

I live in PA (no front plate) and work in MD. Sadly my car does have a front plate on it (came from Ohio). My solution? Japanese plate on the nose. My car is a 240SX and the wife bought me a used plate from Hiroshima when I got the car.
