My father built one as a pit vehicle for the drag strip. This was his FIRST welding project. 3.5hp and does 35 mph.

I can't believe I forgot to say this the first time but thank you for rushing in and helping those in need that day. Anyone who acted like you and helped is truly a hero.

Reno 2011 makes my hair stand on end. My father and I have been to Reno 3 times so far, the last being 07 when those photos were taken.

For those reading through here are a few more photos of Precious Metal and some other Unlimiteds. Enjoy!

When I met the crew I was informed that the assembly was from a Shackleton bomber not a Seafire.

I’m on the fence about babying a new engine. The Suzuki bike dealer I used to race with always said to run the bike from new how you want to drive it later. His Hyabusa drag bikes were always among the fastest at the track and bulletproof.

That inner hole is actually smoothly transitioned into a tube that you can attach ducting to. It also aligns well with a notch in the fender liner and looks for all intents as a cooling duct if you feel like adding about 3’ of flexible tubing.

At least on the SN-95/NewEdge cars, those side scoops are right against the rear seats in the interior and leave you VERY little room for routing air. Also, the front brakes are the major braking force on the car so you need to ensure they are cooled first. A 99-01 Cobra front end has scoops built into the fog light

Sweet car, it looks really sharp in white!

Kinda hard to do as the metal behind those scoops are right up against the rear seats of the car interior. Best bet is to put the Bullitt scoops on instead. They tone it down a bit...

Wow. Last time I smelled that much cooked horse meat I was at IKEA!

I got to see one of these up close a few years ago. An early model was given to the Airframe and Powerplant school at Pennsylvania College of Technology as a training aircraft. It’s sad to see these go and frustrating to see the Hornet (an aircraft I NEVER liked) be delveloped into a “one size fits none” gap filler.

1st Gear: I’m a Ford man and hate GM products thanks to a 2007 Colorado Xtreme my father bought. That said, I had a Cruze 1.4T as a rental car in LA and actually loved the driving dynamics of the little car. The interior left me unsatisfied, but all in all I liked the car. If the new one comes as a hatch I may just

It's fine now. The video has been pulled by Formula One Management.

I love my 95 S2 to death. Im always sad to see Erik Buell's issues and how the market is not willing to accept the revolutionary. My biggest regret is that I am not of the age or economic standing to be in the new bike market. If I had the money and was in a position to buy a new bike I would shop Buell first. Sadly,

Neutral:

Yep. I learned the hard way that width won't save you, but sidewall will give you a better chance at the strip. If you want to go drag racing, get something with a real sidewall. That said, any idea how low the profile of the stock tires on the Hellcat are?

You’re right. If they are at the strip, sidewall will be the issue, not width. My Mach 1 with 315/35/17 sized Bridgestone T/A Drag Radials and only 295hp/318tq at the wheels routinely spun on launch and chirped on the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts at the track.

Surprising that my wife wasn’t on the “Worst Drivers of Lancaster PA” video...

Time to got the bike ready? Pfftt. I’ve been on the bike for at least a month so far. Also I just learned, one carb is FAR easier to keep running than the 4 individual carbs on the 76 CB750 I traded away for that Buell up there. (Oil stain is NOT from the Buell, just the crappy focus my sister in law owns)
