My thought has always been... Do they pay taxes? If yes, then they get a say, through voting, on how they’re spent. Voting age should correlate to the minimum age requirement for legal work.

I don’t trust most people of the current over 18 voting pool, so to me adding a bunch of 16-18 year olds who’ll probably just be like the 18-25 crowd who spout all day on social media but then don’t fucking vote won’t make much of a difference.
