There, you have an excellent point. I wept for Wisconsin last night.

Take off, eh!

We’re sorry, but Monday doesn’t work for us.

Well, since Pareene lives in New York (which Clinton won), it wouldn’t have mattered whether he did or didn’t vote yesterday thanks to the indefensible electoral college system. This was his whole point about why he was undecided about whether to vote.

Nope. We will wear you down with our apologies until you find yourself apologizing as well. But we will not accept your apology. No way! Because we are the ones who are truly sorry.

Hmm... if only I were single. Or dishonest...

Not even if we apologize? That’s the Canadian weapon of last (and first!) resort.

Umm... excuse me. I have a wall to build.

Bring gingersnaps.

Bring cookies.

Sure! I even have a crawlspace under my house. My parents harboured draft dodgers during the Vietnam war, so I’d be carrying on a family tradition of sorts.

What if I already live in Canada? Can I please stay here?

Funny. When I looked at his Twitter feed, I saw this:

Erm, they don’t get paid from “his bank account” or from any form of largesse on his part. They earn income from the money generated by their collective work. Starbucks isn’t a charity, and the CEO isn’t their master.

Income inequality is not the same as “the deficit” or “the debt”. Saying that if the wealthy gave up (some of ) their money it would automatically go towards paying the national debt is ridiculous, and I don’t think anyone is arguing for that position.

You may have a point, though to some, its recursiveness would just make it all the more convincing.

Can’t deny your sound logic. I did the math twice and it checks out. Also too...

“Because let’s be real, if any of them tried to walk away from him, he’d spend whatever it took to ruin their lives. Because he’s a vengeful prick.”

Poor baby! This story just makes me want to give him a big huggie.
