Unless you work at a dealership that pays the staff of their GM store less than their other brands because of this bonus. Oh yeah and instead of getting the $225 per car the dealership takes $100 of it, so our max was always $125. Each dealership can choose how much of the money goes in their coffers or to the sales…
I am a GM guy and wish the new Silverado at least had aluminum rocker panels. Those Fords are going to look a lot better ten years from now than any of the rusted out Chevrolet’s.
I live in Eau Claire, glad our PD made Jalopnik for something good.
Mud tires are not the same as snow tires, good mud tires make terrible snow tires and vice versa.
The focus should be on two stroke emissions. Edmunds did a study and found a two stroke leaf blower running for 30 minutes creates the same amount of hydrocarbons as a 2011 Ford Raptor driving 3,887 miles.
It is the same 3.6L from the Camaro, engine code LGX
For all those who hate these remember they were redesigned in 2018 and now available with the 2.0L turbo. Worth a test drive because that is pretty fun.
Was it sponsored by Ford again? If they have blatant product placement and favor those products in reviews (against what everyone else says) I will not be watching.
I’m in Wisconsin and can also confirm Iowa drivers are the worse.
I leased a 14 Cruze (diesel), loved it but the space sucked. Now I’m leasing a Cruze Hatch (manual). I miss my diesel, leather seats and sunroof but manual hatch more than makes up for it. Spent Memorial Day moving to a a new place across town and the hatch is so much better. Want to move a full Weber grill, two…
Who is this?
I felt the same way but am completely addicted to the new one, well worth at least renting it for a few nights.
Honest reviews uninfluenced by sponsors... opposite of Ford and the American Top Gear.
Any chance you guys would buy back ELR's from dealerships? The dealership I work at has two, we have them marked $4,000 below cost and advertise it with the $22,000 in rebates but still haven't had one test drive in over 8 months. We have no idea what more we need to do to sell them.
As an inventory manager at a large GM dealership I can tell you this is caused by a complete lack of supply. I can't get a Colorado or Canyon from another dealership without paying $500 under MSRP. Right now we have a dozen sold orders and another ten ordered for the lot but most of those are sold already as well.

Personally the myth i see from a dealership in northern Wisconsin is that everyone thinks the your front tires on a FWD car should be the ones with more tread... Yes they get you moving but when you run into ice going around a corner you can counter steer to make up for the slide, the rear (being fixed) needs more…
