This is one of my biggest gripes with the game - they still haven’t gotten out of the TES mentality of quest design. Yes, having to run back to the quest giver makes in sense in a fantasy world, with no long range comms, in a sci-fi world? No.

Imagine having rebuilt the game from the ground up, only for some critics to claim it “can’t be saved.” More active players now than ever. More time spent playing now than ever. Yes, it was a bad launch, but holy hell, if I had a nickel for every article that wanted to include an asterisk on this game’s massive

I don’t know what game you played but you sure as hell aren’t describing Cyberpunk 2077.

What a time to be an adult with a job, kids, and lots of responsibilities, where I can afford to get the games I want, but scarcely have the time to play them (insert crying emoji).

As a mega Sonic nerd, I wasn’t sure what to make of this game when it was first announced released, but damn if I didn’t end up really enjoying it. It doesn’t make any sense on paper but running around in big fields, collecting this or that, choosing what to fight or not fight was a cool little break from the shit I

Agreed! The dev here is offering both a free and paid version. And he’s been doing this for years with supporters. We value similar, talented individuals time/work in all manners of software endeavors. Why are mods a non-starter? Hell, get mad at the company for dropping the ball!

Not sure of the legal ramifications of having a paid mod, but they’re technically profiting off of someone else’s product. Guess they could spin it as a “tip” like most well known modders do. Though they don’t put access behind a paypall from the start.

Fuel Affects how far you can go in a Single String of jumps without having to Stop. Generally its not a Big deal but Heres an Example. I Hijacked a BAD Eclipse ship and due to an oopsey i was wanted in Free Star Space. but the ship had such low fuel i couldnt get to a place i could clear the bounty without having to

Mmmhh, he tried to take out Arasaka. That would be if someone tried to take out Trump’s tower thingy, hopefully with Trump in it. People would hail him in glory for it.

Was shocked to see him drop “IMO” into his email.

its so lovely and crisp!

gonna guess they will do an OLED later like they did with OG switch - just to get the double dipping suckers like me that will buy a day one version AND an upgrade later

Same here. I’m still extremely happy with the OLED switch. Hopefully the rumor that the switch successor only having an LED screen is not true, or at least has two models available.

It is unbelievably charming. I’ve loved playing it on PC and it will be such a great mobile game on Switch.

Blasphemous 2 is definitely much more Metroid leaning in the metroidvania formula than it’s predecessor. That is, there’s a lot more reason to revisit old areas as you acquire new abilities/tools (moreso than Blasph 1). If that’s your thing, you got it.

Overall, it’s an incredible game. The bosses I’ve seen are top

Wrapped up Quake 2 this week. Dunno why I didn’t do that 20+ years ago, but it was a good time. Felt like the pacing was good. There were some tricky parts, but it never felt overly hard. And that sound design, baby. A coworker, not knowing what I was playing, said the super shotgun sounded crazy. Nice work, Id.

I’m

I loved Blasphemous. It was not without its frustrations, but the aesthetic / ambiance is fantastic and I was eager to stick around through some subsequent New Game Pluses to explore alternate endings / challenge runs. I am excited to get my hands on the sequel once I clear my plate of a few other games / lose some

This all sounds like exactly the game I thought it would be and since that’s exactly what I want, I’m perfectly happy to buy it, play it, mod it, and let weirdos argue about metacritic scores.

Now playing

Maybe it’s just an over glorified Fallout in space? I mean It’s got all the Bethesda hallmarks that’s for sure.
