For context, Baldur’s Gate 3 will likely get more reviews that adjust its overall score in the coming days, as reviewers[..]”

Don’t act like you never used Sgt Jamjars’ blessed zoomed-in first person view to stare at Humba Wumba’s giant jubba jubbas

The problem is that Ubisoft needs to either figure out how to diversify all the open world games they churn out or shift a lot of them to be more linear. The rabbids games are a solid example, gameplay is starkly different to anything else ubisoft makes and while it is an “open world” it isn’t really.

Headline unabashedly engineered for engagement. ... and here I am lol. No wonder Luke left.

Pretty sure that was sarcasm from Retro person. If you already picked up on it and I didn’t understand that then my b.

Don’t sweat it. Not liking The Last Jedi is how I discovered that I was apparently a racist incel.

100% The show should have just stuck to the basics. S1 should have just been Geralt vs monster of the week, and a bit of Yennifer, while slowly building up the wider world and characters. Tease Ciri. S2 more careful world building and start adapting from the books.

I really enjoyed the first two seasons, but am struggling to enjoy this season. This season feels like The Witcher: Game of Thrones. The attempts at political intrigue aren’t that interesting. Feels like pawns moving around a chessboard. Where are the monsters nibbling at the pawns?

I think it was a joke about one on the other comments (an unrelated thread).

It’s not just boring, it’s confusing. They’re doing a terrible job of re-introducing characters - outside of the leads, nearly every show does a little work to reestablish who people are and why they’re doing what they’re doing - and out of the gate S3 thrown characters into scenes without any larger context. If I’d

I’ll give a bit of a boost for the show as I thought the last episodes were better than the first three, but even then the fifth episode nearly insufferably smug. Like, and I’ve mentioned this here often, I think Witcher’s biggest problem is that the show thinks it is really smart and clever, which creates those

I think you’ll find if you do some introspection that you’re actually racist and mad about Phillipa.

Its never been a very good show, with the news that the guy holding up the show is leaving isn’t gonna bring in views.

I enjoyed S1 and S2 a lot. I watched the first episode of S3, and it completely soured me on wanting to watch anymore.

The editing, acting, and direction felt terrible. It wasn’t engaging at all, and I don’t know if it gets better, but I don’t really care to continue watching.

i was expecting it to be the horse call button...i called my horse once...got on it..rode for 30 seconds...realized it was a waste of time..then never used horse again

I just thought Forbidden West was a very mediocre sequel narratively, with a few downright flat performances, but a name can indeed be a market influence. The initial glean was over for me by FW. Something about the pacing and the characters was just far less compelling to me in FW than ZD.

The piece says Riley Reid.

Some stay dry and others feel the pain.

I’m hearing absolutely spectacular things about this game.  Hopefully the gamepass release means people will actually play it and it doesn’t go the way of Sunset Overdrive.
