That never happened.

Thank you, that’s really sweet - which isn’t expected on AV Club threads. Bob’s Burgers Fans are the nicest ever. I’m on a FB fan page, and people often post requests for fun memes to lift their spirits after a sad life event. That’s really what I love about the show too, it’s earnest in an un-ironic way. Which is

That’s pretty much all we know, but series creator Loren Bouchard has occasionally teased on social media that certain longstanding mysteries will be addressed in the movie, like the origin of Louise’s rabbit ears and why the kids don’t ever hear about Bob’s mother.

Fans outraged by 3rd act twist revealing the secret ingredient in Bob’s burgers: “Midichlorians”

Is Tammy & the T-Rex a sequel to Billy and the Clone-a-saurus?

The lifetime achievement award for Michael Ironside is cool and well-deserved. Also kudos for listing his credits but not including Top Gun

Say what you will about the tenets of of the Strangers in Dark City, at least it’s an ethos.

Hellraiser 3 also had that boss Motorhead song over the end credits. As a movie it hangs together better than the first or second one, but it doesn’t capture that unbridled sense of whatthefuck.

aren’t the strangers in dark city just cenobites sans nails?

If I’m elected President, my first act will be to pass a law disqualifying anyone who had any role in BvS from ever making a movie again.

Did anyone else feel a cold draft go through this place?

Honestly, the parrot showing up in the credits was one of my favorite moments in an overall enjoyable episode. The fact that Bob is only willing to buy the pipe for the kids if it counts as everyone’s birthday present for the year was my second favorite.

Marvel did a non-canon romance comic that was about how Spider-man parents and Aunt May and Uncle Ben all met and fell in love which ended with the revelation that Aunt May was actually Peter Parker’s mom and conceived when she and Peters dad cheated on their SOs. After she gave birth Daddy Parker and his Mom raised

I know that in a realistic setting, the super-rich Waynes probably could not have been saints, but I still inherently kind of hate any comic/movie/fanfic where a big background element is “Hey, what if [Thomas Wayne/Uncle Ben/any other kind and caring dead person in a superhero’s origin story] was actually an asshole b

I can’t wait to fall asleep to this movie on an airplane later this year.

Yeah this episode felt off-kilter for me as well. The PTA plot didn’t have much heft to it, even when new stuff kept getting added. It really did need another person for Linda to bounce off of, like Bob. Still had some laughs though from her goofy enthusiasm to do things she cannot do well.

The B-plot definitely came out on top this week. Any story that revolves around Bob unintentionally making things worse out of the most trivial of situations never fails to make me laugh, and this one was no exception.

Dany did say before the scene that the offer was political theater. They just wanted to show the population that Cersei was offered a peaceful end to the conflict

I don’t think Tyrion thought Cersei would abdicate; it was about the optics of making Cersei publicly own her choice. What he didn’t anticipate was her using Missandei, their only high-status hostage, like this...which given her history is dumb.
