As far as I know, no evidence has been found linking Accuntane use to depression - which makes sense, because it acts on your oil producing glands and not, say, your hormones.

I think we have to remember that many people who were taking Accutane were probably already more likely to be suicidal than the average person not in need of the drug, even before taking it, because of the damaging psychological effects of persistent severe acne.
