For me, when I push the joystick down, it drifts back up. So maybe you're right. It doesn't drift when I push it in any other direction though

Yeah, I get that Smash Ultimate is not the best attention holder in terms of its singleplayer. But I think Nintendo really made sure to focus on the multiplayer aspect of it.
