Most of the stories ive heard from people are simply trying to be upsold part replacements or maintenances that were not absolutely needed at the time or at all. yeeeears ago I know someone who bought a 400+K miles GX470 from a person who didn’t change the oil and it was starting to sludge up a bit. Payed under $1,000 for it. Guy pulled the engine, chem dip, reseal and used it as a daily. 10+ years later, he still rocks it!
