I knew I shouldn't have clicked on this. I think I have some stuff under the sink I can drink though so it's all good.

"He stands up for American freedoms and he would totally smack a dude for using those freedoms". Doesn't really fit too well.
It still strikes me as odd to this day that The X-Files used their biggest showcase to put on an episode about a cancer-eating regenerating bald dude rather than any of the meat-and-potatoes alien stuff. A few episodes either side would have dealt with clones or black oil or any of the other main alien arcs.
"Chris Kyle is an American hero and what he represents to me is the goodness of America and the people who defend it … if Chris Kyle was still alive, he would handle Michael Moore in a minute".
Yeah, you can base it on the notion that reboots have like the worst success rate ever (I can think of two I enjoyed, ever), and also on Melissa McCarthy being terrible, just terrible. It's a fine idea in principle but that doesn't mean it deserves a free pass.
Lang is always pretty damn good. He was probably the biggest redeeming quality in Avatar too.
I didn't say it never mentioned it, but the show's whole premise exists outside of it—there's nothing sectarian or troubles-related about Spector's murders, when there was once a time when even stories like transgender romances had to shoehorn the conflict in front and centre.
Just the best movie.
The best movie Depp's been involved with in about two decades, and he's the worst thing about it. Really dug the littler roles in it though—Ribisi as Alvin Karpis and Graham as Baby Face Nelson were great.
I distinctly recall recommending the first series of The Fall here when it was on and no fucks were given at the time. Glad someone finally came around, it's a great show and for something produced up north here it thankfully completely sidesteps the done-to-death troubles narrative.
Critters. I shit you not. Wanna see number five, so hard.
Look, I don't care who makes this movie or how they go about it, just don't fucking put Nicholas Cage in it
It's like one little fat kid in charge over there; I'd take him on for half that price.
Bah to this. No mention of any of Graham Linehan's work is too obvious an omission to make sense.
Also needs "Elephants and Hens" from Black Books, but very this.
Yello - "Desire"
I was entirely indifferent to this film until this news, and now I know I'm going to activity despise it.
I'll be honest, I stopped watching Smith's films after he left that initial shared universe, but I loved the fuck out of those films. It doesn't matter how they're directed or what the cinematography is like—the man writes like a puerile Mamet and I love it.
I caught this on the news this morning, and my initial thought was to wonder if they stopped going to office parties after Die Hard
Look, [REC] 3 sucked and everything, but let's focus on what was important—how stunning Leticia Dolera is.
