Ah, I see. But, musically, how awful are we talking?

I had to read this twice before I realised Jane Krakowski is not Jane Kaczmarek. :(
Ireland (where we have the same thing, but call them spides).
I… I thought they did?
Probably a European-vs-American thing but I honestly have never encountered ICP outside of the internet looking down on them. Could someone compare them to a more international standard of terribleness for me?
I thought Powerade was the UK Gatorade. Lucozade, if I remember correctly from the last time I tried its foul alchemical nastiness, is carbonated.
*Insert obvious Florida joke here*
That's why I avoided Gravity, to be honest; I assumed it was going to be the same as Avatar and rely on wowing with its effects. I don't mind the cinema-first approach (I was lucky enough to catch Jurassic Park in the cinema both as a child and as an adult, when the local Odeon started a "classics night", and by god,…
Didn't it have something to do with anti-gravity or levitation?
My main problem was that it was solely a "cinematic experience". It was wonderful in the picture-house but I caught it again on teevee—and my box isn't exactly a shitty one—and there was just nothing to it, it didn't translate to the smaller screen at all.
I needed a good boke this afternoon, thanks.
No Tea Leoni on The X-Files? Wasn't a fan of the episode ("Hollywood AD"), but I had thought it was reviewed highly here.
Oh, big whatever-the-opposite-of-a-Whedon-fan is. Does that make a difference? If not, I'll track it down when I clear all the Joy of Paintings off my DVR.
Don't treat this like a stupid question, but should I check out this show? I generally don't like American comedies (though, in recent years, I did like Happy Endings and Bob's Burgers), and my taste in comedy is much more along the Graham Linehan spectrum. With that in mind, is this up my alley or is this one of them…
Oh, I thought of another one that's probably super-narrow, but it's adult fans of pro-wrestling (in case the handle didn't give it away, I'm one of those), who can't or won't separate the fact from the fiction. It's one thing to suspend disbelief for the sake of a story, but it's another to complain on the internet…
It's not flawless, but there's a smooth perpetual loop to it that works here. It's nowhere near as good as the Looper one, but it's a cut above most of the others.
Pros: Patricia Arquette still looks damn good
Cons: It's actually fucking called CSI: Cyber
Does boxing rankle you the same way?
I think Michael Mann makes some great films, especially in terms of cinematography and characterisation, though sometimes they're let down by acting (though he did get a great performance out of Cruise, which I didn't think he'd manage). I'd say Manhunter is probably his best work though; it's an atmospheric film that…
Yeah, I had to fight the urge to beat him with a garden hose for a while. They're both enjoyable films that owe nothing to the use of colour.
