Iit’s about time that MLB demands similar levels of tax-incentive grifting from their minor league affiliates to ensure the stadiums are at a certain level as their parent clubs do. Frankly I'm shocked it took them this long.

I’m much too busy and important to watch the video or read the article, but I do want to say that Sacramento does, in fact, suck.

Mild take: behind-the-scenes videos like the one with Hield, Divac, and a ROFL cameo from Marvin Bagley III show why the NBA’s popularity has risen lately. They look like they’re having fun—and, more importantly, like they know they’re playing a game.

I’m just happy that other than the men’s basketball teams, every other professional Washington sports franchise, major or minor, has won a league championship or at least made the final round of the playoffs since the Skins won a playoff game (I’m kinda cheating because DC United won the Supporters Shield but not won…

On paper, they would not be the favorite versus either of the A.L. teams. But given that this is postseason baseball and weirder things have happened before, there’s no ruling anything out. They’re hot enough with good enough starting pitching that they certainly have a fighting chance; here’s hoping. 

The Astros and Yankees are likely better than the Nationals, but so were the Dodgers.  They’ve certainly got good enough starting pitching to win.

If he’s anything like me, he doesn’t like being hugged because the feelings of emotional and physical proximity are simply overwhelming for him and it becomes a sort of sensory overload when there’s firm contact with another human being.
