How Is The Twins Playoff Losing Streak Even Possible?

Just a reminder that the Twins won 100+ games playing in the Central against such powerhouses as the Tigers and Royals. The Yankees only had the Orioles to beat-up on.

Look on the bright side Twin fans, it took the Red Sox 86 years before they beat the Yankees in anything meaningful.  If you beat the Yankees in the playoffs within the next 70 years you’ll look better than Boston.

As a Yankees fan, I was terrified of the Twins. They will get past them one day. Trust me, if the 2004 RS can do it, anyone can.

03, 04, 09, 10, 17, and 19. Different decases, different players, different stadiums, different coaches, different management, yet the same results - the Twins fold like a chair when they see the pinstripes. They keep rebooting this movie every few years, and it’s the worst.

Yankees are clearly the best team in MLB. They have had 39 players on the IL missing 2,000 games. It’s cute the Astros and Dodgers have a higher expectation to win the WS.  The Yankees can literally run out 6-7 relievers each game after the 3rd inning. 

Listen, we had our chance to contract the Twins back around 2002. All they’ve done since is go 2-19 in the Playoffs- almost entirely against the Yankees.
