Yeah, because there's no one on Earth as unfairly called stupid as people who routinely record themselves committing crimes and then post it on Facebook.

Mom told me they sent Tay to a farm where she could run and play with other White Supremacist AI chat bots! Waaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

To be fair, anything is vastly improved by Yakety Sax. I played it over Eraserhead the other night, and it was a hoot!

Reubens has lost some energy due to his age, but I thought Pee-Wee was pretty much intact. He definitely showed his prickliness to librarian girl, travel agent guy, and the folks he pushed out the door at the diner.

You sure about that? According to imdb.com, he dated Debi Mazar for six years during the 90s. In fact, I can find plenty of records that say he's dated women, but none that say he's dated men.

I was a little worried about this, but I watched it last night and couldn't be happier! BIG-time Russ Meyer references, jousting pinatas, and I freaking lost it when the Grizzly Adams character had his big reveal.

That's nothing. I used to be a high school chemistry teacher, and I developed a food that is 99.6 percent gluten-free.

Annette Funicello isn't around anymore to make Pee-Wee's Christmas cards, but I'm sure we could bribe David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson with some nice fruitcake.

I really love that he doesn't have any "Pee-Wee wouldn't do this" rules. That's one of the great things about Pee-Wee: there are no rules and no reality to be tethered to. If you want to do it, that's what you do.

"You sir, are not but an effete Dandy-Whig! Ho-ho!"

That article went to Billie Jean Asimov.

That's the one. Lotta green screen, but they respected the source material, as you said, OK.

I can just see McDonald's putting little Gom Jabbars and Pain Boxes into kids' Happy Meals.

Counterpoint: the movie is not as bad as people say it is, but the book is so dense with Dune mythology that anyone who reads the book first is going to be disappointed. And those that don't may be a little confused.

See my reply directly above to DJ Burn about SyFy Channel's miniseries.

SyFy Channel did a miniseries of the type you're talking about. It was a lot truer to the book and captured a lot more of the details. BUT it was also SyFy Channel quality, so the special effects and acting were a little…cheap.

With Hollywood's recent predilection for stretching single books into multiple movies, this is one that could actually use it.

"Hey Man Nice Shot" was not about Kurt Cobain. It was written prior to his death and was actually about Pennsylvania State Treasurer R. Budd Dwyer. You can see the video at this link: https://www.youtube.com/wat…

Like Janis Joplin and Billie Holiday, right?

You got my vote. Nirvana wrote some good songs, and it's unfortunate that Kurt did what he did, but timing was everything in Nirvana's rise and fall.
