Maybe that's what I was thinking of. That sounds more like a straight-to-video deal, as opposed to being directed by Eli Roth.

"He hates these coffins! Oh no, more coffins!"
Who's Jay Courtwell?
"OK, so get this: Tall Man was abused by his alcoholic father as a child…"
I hear they're remaking Phantasm though, so…
Whatever. No one goes to Newark International Airport anymore, anyway.
I'll never forget the time Doc Watson smashed David Byrne over the head with a whiskey bottle.
That's pretty neat, but wait'll you see the brass knuckles they're selling on SkyMall!
I can get with that. Would people have been losing their collective minds if Empire came out first? Probably not.
I think the high drama and lack of decisive resolution are what a lot of people like about Empire. It's very non-Hollywood, at least for an action/sci-fi film.
Star Wars: The Force Gets in the Shower, Stares at the Shampoo, Says "Fuck, I Do NOT Want to Go to Work Today"
There are a lot of arguments for it, but A New Hope suffers because it was made to be a standalone movie (in case it had flopped) rather than the continuation of an ongoing saga, so it misses out on a lot of the heightened drama of the later two.
I kind of expected this, but I'm not terribly worried about it. It's the first in a trilogy, and I rarely see people arguing that A New Hope was the best out of the three originals.
95% is over-generous for With Bob and David, Josh Modell. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't that great. I can rewatch Mr. Show time and time again, but I just have no drive to rewatch this.
It's not his fault they're delicious. Stop blaming the victim!
Nice comment. I agree with all that. I can totally understand how genre devotees would feel like Sublime's half-jerking it. Personally, I'm a devotee of no particular genre; my iPod bounces from old Metallica to Sonny Rollins to Kris Kristofferson to Tribe Called Quest to the Dead Milkmen to Frank Zappa with no…
If you think there's no sadness in Sublime's music, then you've probably only heard the radio songs. The good times and bong rips are nearly always counterbalanced by numerous references the endless discomfort of touring, having no money, getting thrown in jail, screwing up with a woman, and just about every other…
LOL. Yeah, I went to high school in the 90s. I remember the desks in study hall.
I can't believe you made a Guns n' Roses reference, but you think Sublime is terrible.
Ha, haaaa! Take THAT, corny Paul McCartney song!
