Not a Chappelle supporter, or generally a supporter of people saying horrible things. But if you’re actually curious, the reason there’s a difference between how we treat free speech and proprietary data is that freedom of speech is primarily intended to protect people’s opinions, particularly political opinions.

Give them hell Ruffin! Ha ha. Ruffin's the real Superman fan!

YOU WATCH ALL OF THEM AND THE MOVIE

His set on the Comedy Central Roast of Bob Saget when he intentionally bombed is an all-time favorite.  Just five minutes of the worst hack jokes you’ve ever heard and he committed to it 100%.   People in the crowd had no idea what was going on and the other comics on stage were crying they were laughing so hard.

Came for anti-consumerism 101, stayed for the privileged, hectoring tone.

The people currently working at Kotaku are so bad right now.... yikes

“Cancel your event because we published the leaks” is quite the interesting take.

They used to satirize the weird minutiae of Christian culture in a way that was genuinely funny if you were familiar with or even part of that culture. Ownership has changed hands  since then, and now they tend to gravitate towards “I identify as an attack helicopter” or “LOL, people who aren’t straight white guys are

More pageviews and money crossing over into politics than it is to stay in its niche spoofing evangelical christians. Though it also mirrors the trend of white evangelicial christianity being more about politics than actually about the Gospel.

Ahhh, that clears it up for me. I kept thinking “Wasn’t Babylon Bee actually a fairly quality parody site?”. I didn’t realize they had shifted to full on Konservative Komedy (TM) in the years since I had last thought about them.

Now playing

I’m not sure if kids cruise anymore but this scene spoke to an entire generation of young adults who had spent the weekends of their teenage years aimlessly driving around, looking for parties and rocking out when an iconic song came on the radio
