This world is full of people who look a lot like Gavin McCleod

LOL someone other than a ‘hacky white male comic’ gripes about cancel culture and people are like “Surely he must have meant something else! CANCEL CULTURE IS A MYTH, AFTER ALL...” You know exactly what he was talking about.

Well maybe it’s more ‘mainstream liberal’ than ‘leftist’, but the point is the same.  I don’t watch much SNL, but when I tune in it feels like the whole show is just a constant stream of ‘aren’t conservatives dumb hur hur’ shtick that honestly isn’t too far off from right-wing ‘aren’t liberals triggered hur hur’

I think 1 out of 1000 sounds about right tbh.  You’re underestimating the number of people who just grab the free game every week out of habit.

I’m sorry, why is it I’m supposed to feel sorry for developers again? They negotiated a business deal and got paid. It wasn’t involuntary. They didn’t lose money - they made money.  Is it ‘unethical’ to take a deal that both sides mutually agreed to?

I’m sure this poster was lying about being an educator the same way they were lying about being disabled. Feel free to be mad at them - they’re a troll and a dick. But also, people would be much better off if they understood that like 75% of reddit is people lying - ESPECIALLY on advice or AMA or (insert field here)hor

Hey, don’t pile of shame-shame me!

I would love to know how many people, if asked to create the ideal basketball team out of any fictional characters throughout history, would include the Iron Giant or Gandalf.

I read every single Ramona book in the library growing up. I don’t remember much from them, but for some reason I vividly remember the closing chapter in one of the books involves the family going out to eat at a restaurant. That’s it - no big drama, no Ramona hijinks, just the family going out for dinner. But Cleary

I think about Nosmo King all the time.

I imagine it’s more like the company is undergoing an overhaul at the top and a new board is part of the new CEO’S vision. While the board does technically have power over the CEO, they’re not involved in day-to-day operations so it’s more like a consultant than anything else. They mostly exist so that there’s some

Are we even sure there’s going to be an Overwatch League a year from now?

That opening seems to suggest that April and Splinter might be playable characters?  But they don’t appear in any of the gameplay footage.  Would certainly be a cool addition.

I mean, he’ll probably get to continue being the pastor of a small church in bumfuck, Missouri for a bunch of angry rubes. It’s probably better than putting him anywhere else, tbh

I thought it was telling that she didn’t open the door (or editted that part out, more likely), probably because it just opened up into the hall and would have made the whole thing less scary than ‘secret hidden apartment omg

Today I learned that a game that before today we weren’t even certain was real nevertheless has “fans”.

I can’t believe they didn’t include Lost Vikings 2, if only because it’s the only game left from the pre-Warcraft Blizzard era (it might have actually come after Warcraft, but you know what I mean.)

Just to clarify the Hearthstone announcement, which is a little unclear in the recap - The next proper expansion is Forged In The Barrens, a Horde-themed set with the typical 135 new cards. At the same time, they’re ALSO rotating out the Classic and Basic sets (which have been around since HS first launched) and
