Welp. The piece’s wild assumptions have been edited out.

Until it’s official, it’s not official. But hey, the clickbait worked, so...
You get plenty of easter eggs in Luthen’s sets, though. Wooooo buddy.
Also, I enjoyed Return of Ultraman, but Hideki Go was a jerk. There’s no way around it. Thankfully, in the Heisei series, he seemed to mellow out a bit, even if his facial hair makes me think of Guy Fieri.
You have no idea how happy it makes me to talk to someone on here who actually seems to understand Ultraman apart from passing familiarity.
That said, I do see what you mean now, so that was confusion on my end. I’ve seen some people think they are going to make a “new” Shin Godzilla movie, which...doesn’t make sense…
This is the correct answer.

I mean, that’s great you didn’t. I’m going to wager more people do care than don’t, however; the decisions these social media websites have made indicate as such. However, while I understand your concern on staying abreast, I’ve found life is much more manageable the less I know. Information glut is a very real thing;…
Well, Toho’s movies have been on hold because of Legendary’s release schedule and such. Maybe that’s what the clickbait title was getting after?
It’s not an official upload, but this is more my speed:
While the “Shin” moniker isn’t new (Return of Ultraman was originally Shin Ultraman when it came out), I can’t see a Shin reboot happening, especially after the work Anno and Higuchi have put into it, not to mention the faith Toho, Tsuburaya, and Toei have placed in them.
I genuinely am unsure why people are fighting so hard to keep Twitter alive. Even the most ardent users talk about how much they hate it, how it weighs down on them, etc. I mean, yes, it gives you a false sense of worth and accomplishment (look at all of my likes/retweets/followers!), but it’s not just the teenagers…
Don’t you dare suggest people are spending too much of their lives online and progress isn’t inherently virtuous. Don’t. You. Dare.
The CGI here bothers me. I get it...but I don’t like it.
I would say it’s unlikely to see a sequel to Shin Godzilla, but it’s hard to say. I mean, Anno had plans for a follow-up:
New Godzilla movie next year. https://bloody-disgusting.com/movie/3739210/toho-announces-new-godzilla-movie-for-theatrical-release-in-2023/
Okay, good to know. Definitely not trying to be a stick in the mud. I’m glad people are enjoying it. Just isn’t a flattering header image is all.
Re: the header image. Did the show really look that bad, or is it just the quality of the photo?
Eh, I’d rather err on the side of charity with this kind of stuff. I see what he was trying to do. My original comment is more about the fact there is little to no editing on this site anymore.
I mean, it's a simple typo. I've been guilty of it before. But it's crazy what gaffes make it to publication here.
