.028% of 177 is much different than .028 without a percent sign. The former is really .00028, which isn't what you are wanting.

“Of course, it is bizarre and more than a little tragic that TWD saved this extremely interesting development for episode 172 of 177, technically the last 0.028 percent of the TV series”.
This is some pretty bad math. Seriously, how did an editor not catch th...oh yeah.
Of course they included the Sauron bit in the trailer. Amazon knows how to chum the waters.
See, I felt that way with the first portion, but the last two episodes? Definitely can see this working...if they stick the landing, of course.
Oh, trust me: you aren’t going to get any disagreement from me there. I’m ALL for character development, both positively and negatively. That’s what makes the Children of Hurin so frustrating, right? I’m still convinced Turin didn’t have to be bound by Morgoth’s curse, but if that’s what we believe, that’s how we’ll…
I think you captured a lot of people’s frustrations, in that Peter Jackson could crib from Tolkien, whereas now...well, they really can’t. It doesn’t mean the show is garbage—far from it. But as I said elsewhere, it feels more like Jackon’s LOTR (in an aesthetic sense), but is lacking a lot of what makes Tolkien so…
I’ve begun to eat my words with this show, largely because it’s my fault for not knowing they didn’t have access to the Silmarillion and the important stories for the first/second ages of Middle-earth. Once I understood that, and started to see there were reasons for Galadriel to be...somewhat annoying... Things have…
If I’ve learned anything with this show, there are typically other things going on behind the scenes. ESPECIALLY with the tunnels. That was a great build up. So while yes, it’s dumb, I’m hoping this is the matter of, say, them taking advice from someone they shouldn’t be....cough Annatar cough.
I definitely don’t comment here enough to warrant the status being removed. I really only comment on Ultraman pieces. This episode of Andor was great, though, and again. As someone who is studying the philosophy of technology, I freaking loved this bit.
Forever doomed to the grays, but I loved Nemik’s bit on technological progress as well. Whoever wrote this script definitely was channeling some Neil Postman/Marshall McLuhan/Jacques Ellul vibes, and as the kids say, I was here for it.
“And that the film’s director just so happens to be one of this generation’s most accomplished and prolific filmmakers is just the cherry on top” (emphasis mine).
I’ve checked out of the MCU, but I’ll admit this trailer got to me. Lot of emotions. And that Kendrick remix...
...how did all of those helmets get stacked so high?
Kurt Russell is playing... Mark Russell’s dad....as himself?
It’s tough, but there are copies out there. Did I want to pay $30 for a DVD? No. But DID I? Yes. And thankfully, it was legit.
GxMII can be a bit of a slog, but if that soundtrack isn’t a banger, I don’t know what is... That said, it’s not a day one purchase for me.
Vinyls of anything Michiru Oshima has touched, though. Mmmm.
I mean, I think the lack of “the” before manga and anime is pretty indicative that it’s a generality, not specifically Ultraman source material.
And yeah, the anime series will forever have bad subtitles, I fear, which sucks, because it’s a great show.
I feel like nowadays, with so many entries, it’s about where you start. Ultraman Z has been a good jumping off point for a bunch of new fans, including myself. I had dabbled with it previously (namely Ultra Q and Ultraman), but Z sucked me in like nobody’s business, and from there, I couldn’t stop. If you ever decide…

I’m just waiting for Shin Ultraman. I know James is, as well.
