I can name a flaw in every major scene in Alien, but it's still a great film because of production design, acting, directing etc… Prometheus has its flaws as well but makes up for it in the same exact ways

That argument is wrong though so I understand your frustration. It's become tiring listening to people mis-read the entire film for the last 8 years. The crew had no idea of what was in store for them until it was far too late.

Prometheus is definitely a good film. It just wasn't what the "Fans" expected so it's still overlooked. It's far better than 3 or Resurrection, just isn't up to par with the first 2. Not many films are in the first place. It's just become popular to hate
