Only a couple weeks until we either feel a surge of genuine hope, or realize it’s all gone for good and maybe we should go.

Republicans went insane over Obama bowing to the Emperor of Japan, but find nothing at all to critique about Trump covering up for the Saudi regime murdering a journalist. They investigate Hillary Clinton for 4 years over Benghazi and e-mails but are trying to bury the fact that Trump killed the deal over the new FBI

Great! I hope it helped some. It’s hard to feel hopeful in trying times.

I remember the buses. That made me sick to my stomach!

Yeah, that’ll turn out well.

This freaks me out so bad, I can’t even begin to put it into words.

Exactly. The media needs to stop using the euphemism given to them by the fascists. This shit is downright Orwellian. We have a name for this. It’s a bad name because these are bad things. It’s not a tent city. It’s a concentration camp with tents.

It’s a concentration camp, that’s just how it needs to be referred to and everyone involved needs to go to jail.

‘I’m a very famous person, unfortunately.’

Honestly, I think dating profiles for straight men should have a box to check if they’re housebroken.

We got A Pluses for our recent hurricane work in Texas and Florida (and did an unappreciated great job in Puerto Rico, even though an inaccessible island with very poor electricity and a totally incompetent Mayor of San Juan). We are ready for the big one that is coming!”

Or who’s actually running his office, as it obviously isn’t him. Who’s putting in the day-to-day work right now while that gasbag waddles around the country blubbering about his fantastical fantasies? IMO the situation is without a doubt far, far worse than anyone’s letting on.

Well, there is something someone can do; it’s called the 25th Amendment and allows for the removal of a president (or vice president) who is unable to discharge their duties.

As many as 45 House Republicans could lose their seats in the upcoming midterm election

If your phandom blog is on tumblr I might come across it. I’m only recently dipping into the phandom. It’s always been on my radar because I follow other blogs I have cross over with. Plus my sister is a musical theatre actress and you can’t escape that musical. She’s actually friends with a girl in the current

This is actually my first time reading Phantom of the Opera. I just majored in Literature and when I did a 19th century French Lit class our professor discussed translations and would discuss things that were lost. I have a very shitty reading knowledge of French so when she explained that one of the novels we were

It’s important that B&N stays in business. It’s a cornerstone of the publishing world and, for many people, the only local bookstore. IMO there can never be too many books whether it’s indie stores or B&N - just not Amazon. They are destroying retail.

Personally I miss Waldenbooks
