Thanks for that link. I didn’t know there was a follow-up investigation into the firmware. Yeah when you are talking stack overflows and flipped bits, anything could really happen.

Better yet, actual enforcement of motorcycle licenses. I know of numerous people who purchased a used motorcycle when they don’t have either a permit or license to ride. I wouldn’t mind getting stopped once or twice a year if it keeps unlicensed idiots from riding (and then dying) without a license.

I don’t have any answers, but maybe if motorcycles had a tiered license for bike output like in Europe, there would be fewer motorcycle related deaths. This would slowly remove the negative “death machine” stigma they have and become more and more common.

Never liked the old clubman. Like this new one though, that’s for sure. I’ve been looking at replacing [adding to] our ‘10 Justa a more family friendly car, but for ~$30,000 I may just keep the `10 for me and this new clubman for family.
