A terrible episode in a lackluster trilogy in an otherwise interesting season.

Well boo on resurrecting Gert. Her bittersweet death was one of the many things that made such an impression on me in the early Runaways run.

As shoehorned in as the Missy scenes were, I loved them too. The main story felt suspenseful even though the pacing was strange. And because this was not a re-tred of ideas used in previous episodes as every episode so far this season has been, I found it refreshing. The Nardole/Bill pairing was done quite well.

I meant in terms of propping up the recent movie.

Either this is very lazing writing or they are building to something by using analogs of antagonists from previous episodes:

Two reasons - Disney both owns ABC and the show is produced by ABC Studios. Basically, the show is dirt cheap to make so it gives the Mouse House an easy way to promote their characters and movies.

The comic series Aria precedes Fables by 3 years and it’s the exact same premise. A much better one too IMO but it didn’t gain any traction.

I started watching during whatever season they were in Never Neverland. It gets stupid sometimes and they pad out the stories too much. But there’s nothing else interesting on that time of Sunday and it’s nice to see a show focus on heroines.

Out-of-touch “ordinary” guy meets “extraordinary” woman-child who is unable to reach a goal and/or care for herself. Because she is “so” beautiful and already believing in his goodness, he is forced/coerced to become the real man he either wasn’t aware, or didn’t believe, he was capable of being - and becoming that

OK - This is the second episode where a story element has seemed eerily reminiscent of a previous Dr. Who episode:

Agreed. I was ready to dislike her with the same passion that I disliked Clara - but she is definitely a fun companion. Her very real reaction to running away, and then her equally real change of mind, is what put her on the plus side for me.

Also when watching this week’s episode I thought - Vashna Nerada?

Naked mole rats are awesome! #rufusrules

I couldn’t scroll through all 300+ responses so apologies if someone already commented about this BUT - am I the only one who thought “The Waters of Mars” when this sentient water showed up?

I’ve been getting this book since Day 1 and I cannot believe it never occurred to me to check Twitter to see if these accounts were real.

I had hoped they would have done more with Lana Luthor to fill this role but nope.

I use MS Office Online. It has all the functionality of Office in the cloud. Also, both Word and Excel have 10x the features of Google Docs and Spreadsheets. Yeah I pay $70/year for it but that come out to less than $6/month so I’m cool with the expense.

I got kinda bored with the start of this season but by midway through it got better. Last night’s finale was worth it EXCEPT I was really hoping for [redacted] to be shown right at the end since that was the buildup for two episodes in a row.

Westworld spent a great deal of time with the mystery of what makes the robots tick. Humans skipped that altogether with the coding plot device. So I think it is fair to say that Humans is dealing with a lot that Westworld didn’t but it is unfair to suggest that Westworld isn’t dealing with equally important issues.

How could you hate anything with cute ears like that?
