If you are trying to run Photoshop on one monitor, Lightroom on another, and render an hour of HD video on another, then play Skyrim on the fourth, you aren't going to have the same experience as using a decked-out rig.

.... So Microsoft is Judith and the consumer is Holofernes? Yeah, okay, makes sense to me! DECAPITATE ME, BABY.

Lightroom 4. End of story.

A friend was playing Dragon Age 2 on her new Samsung LED. She couldn't tell a difference from regular TV, even though smooth motion was cranked up, and the refresh rate was something obscene like 120Hz. It was killing me. She also watched Jane Eyre, and it looked like a home movie. After that, I changed her settings

We're going to be freaking invincible in 45 years when I retire. Sweet.

My school gives us issues for freezies. College = The ultimate circumnavigation of NYT paywall.

Fair enough. Makes sense that correlation doesn't always equal causation. Especially with the vast amount of data that medical professionals have to work with when analyzing humans.

I gave up meat for lent this year, and I'll be honest, it really hasn't been that hard. Other than getting some good-natured grief from my friends when selecting a restaurant, that is. I haven't had less energy. I haven't felt bad. I've felt fine.

Isn't a correlation where answers come from? Positive correlation means "yes, this makes something happen." Negative means "this makes something happen less." No correlation means "brosef, we have no idea how these are related. Let's play connect the dots."

Propranolol? More like Propranolololololololol.

I would guess the light situation as well. It seems like if the conditions aren't favorable for the background, there won't be definition when refocusing.

Woah, Charlie looks terrible... Like he's aged 20 years.

I am minoring in photography, and I own an EOS Rebel T3. I didn't want to spend the extra cash on the T3i, though in the future it might be a good investment. A 5D would be so much overkill for me. The II and III look fantastic, though. I'm continually impressed by how many pro-grade videos are being shot on them.

Notice how pitch black the background is, and the blurring of the grass. It's really interesting how you can change effects with just the focus and ISO.

Man, Juarez is so insane that the gangs can even shoot people in different cities, without ever leaving the ciudad.

I own a pair of TrekSports and love them. I want to get a pair with thinner soles, to get closer to true barefoot walking. I don't run much, but I wear them when biking around campus, and they're fantastic. They all but cured my plantar fasciitis.

I whip my phone out of my pocket and twirl it around to the viewing position between my thumb and first finger often. Many times, I'm riding a bike. My 4s is just TOO SLIPPERY to do that safely. It sounds dumb, but it's too small, too light, and too slick for my needs. I have an Incipio NGP smoky case. It's not the

Yeah. I was talking to a friend about how unprecedented this is. I've never seen a website get DELETED remotely... That's insane.

I just about flipped a horse when I was instructed to buy Canterbury Tales from the bookstore for $75.

Honestly, that price point isn't all that bad. Building a custom rig with similar specs comes in at about the same range. I'd love to see modular, smaller PC's pack the punch that my full-size tower does, and still be able to upgrade it.
