The writers choice of having Elektra to define herself through her relationship with Matt is so inline with the show consistently failing the Bechdel test.

Why do you always bring up a probable romantic tension? Can't a female character just be a female character? I like that you picked up on the contrast of Claire's strength and Karen's circumstances. But , cmon, theyre not there to service the peen.
