Hey look another anti-car article from Alissa! She has a graph to show it’s truth guys, don’t argue with it - even though the graph really doesn’t even show good correlation, let alone the whole correlation =/= causation thing.
It pisses me off when I’m a pedestrian and it pisses me off when I’m driving. People need to stop texting and staring at their phone when walking.
Alternative to the “I hate cars” narrative: the iPhone was introduced in 2007 but only started getting popular in 2008. So seeing an increase in pedestrian accidents from 2008 to 2014 correlates precisely with smartphone usage.
